‍The Lebanese Embassy in London is pleased to inform members of the Lebanese community in Manchester and the surrounding areas that, in an effort to facilitate access to consular services, visits to Manchester will be organized on a monthly basis.

‍ ‍Starting Saturday, 25 April 2026, a consular officer will be available in Manchester on the last Saturday of each month to receive and process consular applications from Lebanese nationals.

In view of the unfolding humanitarian crisis, due to the ongoing war and the recent military escalation, the United Nations has launched a $308.3 million flash appeal on 13.03.2026 to help Lebanon cope with the fallout of a war that has forced more than a seventh of its population out of their homes.

This flash appeal is primarily a funding instrument designed to support the government-led emergency response.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants has also provided a list of core relief and health sector items urgently needed to meet the essential requirements in collective shelters for the displaced in Lebanon. The list is available at the following link: Lebanese Emergency Response Needs.

 The Ministry of Public Health, requires the following standards to ensure the effectiveness of aid:

Prohibition of home-collected medicines: It is strictly forbidden to send medicines that have been collected from homes, whether new, opened or partially used.

Compliance with official lists: Donations must be limited exclusively to the items listed in the official lists (Official List)

Drug validity: The remaining shelf life of donated medicines and medical supplies must be no less than six months upon arrival to Lebanon.

Technical specifications: All shipments are subject to technical quality control to ensure the safety and effectiveness of all medical supplies entering the country.

Prior approval: Shipping procedures must not begin without obtaining prior approval for the submitted lists, in order to avoid delays in clearance or rejection of non-compliant shipments.
